the hope of the tommorow

Ang kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan..Its a saying which means the young ones are the hope of the future. It has been an accepted idea especially here in our country that indeed, the young ones are and will be the hope of our tomorrow, but can we still say that in our world today, this idea is still possible?

It would be easier if i divide the world into two parts just for the purpose of this entry. One part is composed of the young bloods (hopes of the future) and the other is comprised of the grown-ups.

To speed things up, it would be better to point out one fact which all of us know, regardless of age and sex. It's the fact that the grown up are the ones raising the new generations or our supposedly hopes of the future. This is not something which i just created, it is true to everyone and anywhere. It is them who creates and inculcates ideas and future stands in the young ones. In short, it is the grown ups who molds the young bloods. Another fact that i would like to point out is the fact that the status quo is not created by the young ones but by the grown-ups. So whatever the condition of our world today maybe, it is because the grown-ups made it that way and no one else. Only those who are capable of deciding and taking actions can take part in the shaping of the world, no matter how indirect and how small such participation would be, it is still part of the shaping of the worlds status quo. And we have to accept the fact that today, the world is in chaos.

Now, with those simple facts in mind, can we still say that the idea of the young bloods being the hopes of the future is still possible?

Scary yet i would have to say no.

If the young bloods are the ones who will serve as the key to the brighter future for everyone, the i guess we should change the first fact i presented.( grown-ups raise and mold the young generation)For as long as the grown-ups who by the way made the world today a not so safe place to stay in stays in control over the growth of the young ones, then we will never see our idea of the children being the hope of the future materializing.

The grown-ups have made the world today a not s safe place, with the ideologies and actions it has done. The whole world is practically covered by these ill stuffs, although there are those who try to be different and try to correct whatever is wrong, the fact still remains that the world is still in chaos, which means the majority of the worlds capable thinkers and decision makers are for the ill stuffs i was talking about. We can never question the power of the majority over the minority.

How will we see the hope of the future if the people molding them are those who made the world they live in a chaotic one?. What will these young bloods grow up in, what else than an environment wherein ill ideologies are present. If these are the environmets that the young ones will grow up to, then what made you think they will grow to be different, and if ever there are those who grow up to be really different, they will still face the power of the majority or the strength of the group with the bigger number.
